Biography

Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV (born March 10, 1982), commonly known by his online alias Dr DisRespect, is an American Twitch streamer and internet personality.

Beahm has accumulated millions of followers on the Twitch platform and is most known for playing battle royale video games, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, COD, Apex Legends. His streams are known for having a high production value even though he streams for only four hours a day.

Controversy 

Before his ban on Twitch, Dr. DisRespect was making weird claims about Coronavirus, sounding very familiar to the rhetoric Trump was making during the time the U.S was just emerging from the Coronavirus lockdowns. Soon after those claims, the website Kotaku Tried To Deplatform Dr Disrespect for spreading conspiracy theories about the virus.

Racism Controversy 

Dr. DisRespect was called out for making racist remarks about Asians during his stream, some even concluding this could have been the reason for him getting banned from the platform.
